Unveiling New Client for Our Restaurant ERP: Feras Sweets
New customer, epitome of Arabian delights in the UAE
Before I first came to Dubai I had only tried the Turkish Baklava and delights, which I thought were close to perfection. But the day my friend took me to Feras Sweets shop, Barsha Heights, Dubai, to get authentic Arabian Baklava and Kunafa, perfection just reached another level!
On this note, we are so excited and delighted to welcome our newest client, Feras Sweets, to our smart restaurants community!
With a long tradition in designing and perfecting Arabian delights, Feras Sweets, is best known for its sweets, such as the Kunafa, Mabroma, Fatera, or the famous Turkish baklava with an Arabic twist. But their menu extends to breakfast options, manakish, salads, sandwiches, shawarmas or pizzas, so this is the perfect place to go if you’re craving for something sweet, or if you want to enjoy good quality dishes in a traditional setting. Location should not be a problem, as Feras Sweets is available across 27 branches in all seven United Arab Emirates.
Collaboration with Polaris Technology
As part of our recent partnership, Feras Hanoun Sweets will be using our fully integrated restaurant ERP solution, which includes the front-of-the-house software (like point of sale, kitchen ordering ticket, barcode label weighing scale), Backoffice, Purchase, Inventory Management, Finance and Accounting, HR and RestoConnect (integration between FOH POS and delivery aggregators orders for an automated and centralized order receiving).
Polaris ERP solution will be implemented across all the 27 branches in all Emirates. With this move, Feras Sweets will always be in control of its data, being able to measure and improve its figures and grow it with the help of our technology.
Overcoming the Challenges of Feras Sweets
Before implementing Polaris ERP as their restaurant software solution, Feras Sweets was using different software for POS, accounting and HR software. There was a considerable amount of manual work to consolidate this data, which posed some challenges on operational and decision making efficiency.
Furthermore, there were some difficulties in reports generation and data integrity. In the absence of a natively and in-built ERP system, they could not consolidate reports for the entire organization between the restaurant section and sweets section, which made the work processes fragmented, leaving room to lots of gaps in the business process flow and the way they operated for both the FOH and back office, which was not seamless.
In addition, the huge fleet for their own delivery drivers has hampered their efficiency in managing and keeping track of the orders that were delivered by each delivery person and optimizing the delivery management across all 27 branches on all Emirates.
